Al coco le gusta esconderse en los cuartos de los niños mal educados, así como también en sus armarios, en los cajones y debajo de la cama para poder asustarlos en la noche.
Hay otro tipo de coco que aparece en las noches que no hay luna. Este pone a los niños mentirosos en una bolsa para convertirlos en jabón. cuando un niño hace algo indebido, debe pedir disculpas y aceptar su castigo, de lo contrario recibirá la visita del "El coco". esa es la única manera de salvarse de este malévolo ser.
